In the 1980's Mia Sara had the hearts of many young boys with her unforgettable performance as girlfriend Sloane in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." However, Sara's life has since changed dramatically. Seen this week on Wooster Street in Soho, she is now "mostly retired" with two children and is married to Brian Henson; the son of Muppets creator Jim Henson.

Gracefully walking the New York streets, the now 45-year-old was looking thin, vibrant and stylish while sporting a black tank top and a wide-brimmed top hat.

According to Stylelist, the youthful looking mom revealed her secret for maintaining her healthy skin:

"To keep your skin looking healthy and young, wear a hat," Mia stated.

Also complimenting her seemingly timeless appearance, the easy on the eyes mom had cut off her previously longer mane in favor of a shorter looking low-maintenance doo.

The native New Yorker was actually raised in the Brooklyn Heights area. She had previously been married to Jason Connery, whom she had son 15-year-old Dashiell with.

Sara has not been in the public eye very much as of late since the prime of her career. However, she has had brief stints on the 2002 Batman show "Birds of Prey" and as Princess Langwidere in 2010 on the miniseries "Witches of Oz."

In an Oct. 2010 interview with Total Film, Sara had come clean on the status of her acting career.

"Well, I'm mostly retired. Now I'm a mother with a really noisy, difficult house to maintain!"
