Justin Bieber VIBE Cover & Behind-The-Scenes VIDEO, "My Fans Are Crazier" Than Others (Watch)
Justin Bieber graces the cover of VIBE Magazine's September issue and in the cover story, he discussed fame, privacy and why he has the craziest fans in the world.
The photos of the 18-year-old are black and white, and show a mature side of Bieber.
During the magazine's interview, which took place backstage at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Beiber seemed lowkey and humble for someone who has made $110 million in the past two years, according to the reporter.
When Bieber announced on "Ellen" that every member of the audience will get two tickets to a concert for his upcoming "Believe" tour, the interviewer revealed that one of Bieber's fans was hyperventilating long after the news was delivered.
"My fans are crazier than anyone else's fans," Bieber said. "I've had girls make light-up signs with actual mechanics involved. Like it takes them three months to make that sign. Three months! That's a long time."
Bieber was asked how he felt about being placed third on Forbes magazine's Most Powerful Celebrities List.
"Oh, that's cool. I wasn't like, 'Oh, that's awesome!' I could really care less," he replied.
When asked what is his definition of fame, he answered, "What does that really mean, 'to be famous'? In general, fame can tear you apart, so you can never really feel like you're famous. When people start acting like they're famous, that's when they start losing it."
The writer inquired about the amount of cars he owns, his home and whether privacy truly exists for the teen sensation.
"I don't like giving too much personal information about where I live and the cars I drive," he replied. "There are a lot of people in this world that aren't good people, and all they need to do is a little research....People hiding in garbage cans overnight to catch [pictures] of me. Crazy things happen. You can't give out too much personal information."
Bieber have been public however with fellow singer and current girlfriedn Selena Gomez. The two have walked the red carpet together many times and have been photographed enjoy quality time together on the beach and on the streets.
The interview ended with the pop star revealing the only thing he does not look forward to as an adult; "I hate shaving," he said. "It's really going to suck when I have to start shaving every day."
Bieber's upcoming "Believe" worldwide tour kicks off Sept. 29.
