Carly Rae Jepsen admitted in May she has been dating someone for the past year, but refused to identify who her boyfriend was at the time.

The Canadian pop star has stepped out with the mystery man twice in the past week and People reported that Jepsen has been dating rock musician Matthew Koma.

"He introduced her as his girlfriend," a source told People. "He seemed really excited about it, and she was smiling from ear to ear by his side during the introduction. He seems like a really nice and personable guy."

The music-making couple held hands in public at the GetGlue HD Launch Party at The Standard in New York City. Jepsen's parents joined the pair after the event for dinner at The Stanton Circle.

"Many people recognized Carly and she posed for pictures with fans," an insider at the restaurant told People.

In May, the 26-year-old told People that she was seeing someone but did not reveal who it was.

"He makes me laugh every day and not always on purpose, but he's my guy. He's been really amazing and very supportive."

Jepsen was seen with Koma last week in Los Angeles at the Sunrise Marquis while finishing up her album, according to Daily Mail.

"Crazy week in LA finishing off my record. Pucker up ... "KISS" Sept.18th! xo," she tweeted at the time.

A day later she tweeted, "Dinner in NYC! Celebrating the completion of my record! Just adding some lipstick. #KISS ~SEPT18th."

Jepsen's  infectious song "Call Me Maybe" has dominated music charts in 15 countries this year and broke Lady Gaga's Billboard Hot 100 Record.

The hit single has been parodied by numerous celebrities - from Sesame Street to the Team USA swim team prior to the Summer Olympics. When Jepsen's fan Justin Bieber lip-synced the song on-camera with girlfriend Selena Gomez and friend Ashley Tisdale, the video went viral and became a YouTube hit.

Entertainment Weekly reported that FOX's hit show "Glee" will cover "Call Me Maybe" on the show's season four premiere. The epsiode airs Sept. 13.

Her second album, "KISS" will be released on September 18.
