Oscar winner Ben Affleck had plenty to say about his wife in a recent interview, including how she's pretty much the cause for her husband's remarkable career.

Is Jennifer Garner Angry With Her Husband's Ex?

On Tuesday, Daily Mail posted the information from Affleck's interview with Loaded where he talked about how his spouse, Jennifer Garner, helped him move forward in the movie industry.

"Getting to know Jennifer, falling in love with her and being connected with her gave me a foundation to reach out and say, okay, I'm going to do Hollywoodland," the actor said. "I'm going to direct Gone Baby Gone. Those were the steps forward I needed to put positive stuff on the board."

Affleck might be known for his astounding career, but he's also known for dating other famous names, including Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow. Even though these relationships didn't work out, the actor made it clear that he has no resentment towards the past.

"I've been really lucky in my personal relationships," Affleck said. "I look back and think the major relationships I've had were all with really good people who I like quite a bit still to this day."

Affleck and Garner have worked together on Daredevil- a film where Garner's action skills set a certain atmosphere for the couple's marriage.

"She won most of the fights in the movie, which was a pretty good predictor of what would happen down the road- my wife holding swords and beating the living s--t out of me," Affleck said.
