A slew of new movies are slated to begin streaming on Amazon Prime on Thursday, Jan. 1, with others continuing to premiere throughout the month.

Netflix TV Shows Set For Release In January Revealed, Including 'Friends' & 'White Collar'

Amazon Prime, the popular website's instant streaming feature, has announced their list of new movies and TV shows that will be available to stream for Prime members now that 2015 has arrived. Among them are some 2014 movies, numerous old classic films, a comedy special, as well as the latest season of one popular TV series.

The list of movies set to begin streaming on Jan. 1 on Amazon Prime are: The Amityville Horror, Amityville II, Barbershop 2, Beverly Hills Cop 2, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Footloose, Hoosiers, It Happened One Night, Moonstruck, Mr. Mom, On the Waterfront, Shall We Dance?, Snatch and Swingers.

Jan. 3 is the streaming premiere of 2014 film Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Jan. 4 is the release of Starred Up and Jan. 5 is the release of The Congress.
