It looks like the progress on Finding Carter Season 2 is working out pretty smoothly at this point.

Is 'Finding Carter' Season 2 Going To Be A Lot Like Season 1?

On Tuesday, series creator Emily Silver took to her Twitter page to mention that she's going to be working on a new episode of the MTV series as well as another popular TV show.

"Today's agenda: rewrites on new #bones script and finishing the outline for a new #FindingCarter ep. #somuchtodo #byebyevacation," she wrote.

As of now, there's still no word on when the second season of Finding Carter will air, but it'll likely be in the middle of 2015.

The last moment that took place was Carter being kidnapped once again by Lori, the woman who pretended to be Carter's mother throughout the years. In an interview with TV Line last fall, executive producer Terry Minsky dished on the theories that have audiences guessing and how there's a lot more going on.

"The thing I wanted to always be an underlying backbone for as long as I could is 'Why did this woman abduct this child?'" Minsky said. "I knew that the backstory had to be something that, when we knew what it was, would inform the characters and how you thought about them moving forward. The backstory has not been completely told."

One theory right now is that Lori may have been having an affair with David, but time will tell on how that might continue.
