The second season premiere of Finding Carter may not arrive for a good while, but the cast has finally reunited to work on the new episodes.

'Finding Carter' Creator Says When The Series Will Begin Filming Again

On Friday, director Scott Speer posted a black and white photo of the cast members as they got together for a table read. Kathryn Prescott (Carter) can be seen taking a sip from a drink as the other team members hold a script in front of them.

Speer captioned the shot, "Finding Carter table read! #FindingCarterseason2"

Is The Second Season Of 'Finding Carter' Going To Be Like The First?

There are a lot of questions on how the second season will begin. Considering that the last moment involved Carter being kidnapped by her fake mother for the second time, this gives some speculation on how or if she will get away.

Executive producer Terry Minski recently told TV Line that she knew directly how the season finale was going to take place.

"When MTV called me and said, 'We're going to pick up the first season, but you need to have a great cliffhanger,' I was like, 'I know what it is!'" Minsky said. "We were always headed for that abduction, but the question was 'how."

The producer then dished on the changes that occurred with Lori and Elizabeth.

"I don't think Lori changed, but we got to finally see the Lori that was capable of kidnapping a child," she said. "I feel both of their personalities are, fundamentally, the same as they were in the beginning."
