Perez Hilton posted on his site the scandalous video recording of One Direction's Zayn Malik allegedly inviting an unidentified girl to his hotel room and when Hilton accused the singer of cheating and leaving the band, it results in Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears getting so mad at the gossiper that they decided to unfollow him on Twitter.

Hilton first posted the news on his site on Tuesday, Aug. 21, and when Malik deleted his Twitter account, stating that he was tired of all the hate messages, the gossiper tweeted, "One Direction's Zayn Malik DELETES His Twitter!perez.ly/QXFc4j Called it! I said he'd be the first to leave 1D! This is the beginning!"

Malik himself took to the web the following day to deny the accusations.

"Don't worry about me I'm fine...all the rumours of me...and cheating. I dont need to read any of that negativity."

A source close to the artist said, "They couldn't be happier, it's ridiculous that anyone thinks otherwise. When they're together it's like excited teenagers getting together for the first time," referring to Malik and his girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

However, in light of Hilton's reaction to Malik deleting his Twitter and allegedly cheating, celebrities Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Lady Gaga unfollowed him on Twitter. Lovato confirmed the reports by tweeting the following:

"Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga have all unfollowed Perez Hilton because of his negative comments towards 1D!"

Vibe magazine wrote, "Perez Hilton's love for celeb gossip may have finally backfired on him." and IBTimes.com concurred by stating, "You know you have done something wrong when superstars Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus all unfollow you on Twitter. That's exactly what has happened to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton."
