The 100 is cooking up a season finale that writers can only described as f'd up.

New '100' Episode Titles Revealed, Will The Sky People's Luck Turn Around?

The CW drama entered the midseason hiatus on a rather depressing note, and writer Aaron Ginsburg believes viewers should spend the winter break stocking up on Kleenex.

"The very first day I heard what our plan was for the season, what the show-runner [Jason Rothenberg], what he had wanted to do, it was...so f----d up, that I was like 'This is gonna be awesome. I can't believe we get to do this," Ginsburg teased on the Nerdist Writers Panel (via Pop Insomniacs).

The impending season 2 finale is quite a ways off, but Ginsburg already knows that it will be "merciless."

"It's so insane, and it's so big, and it's completely not what you would see on The CW," Ginsburg told the Nerdist Writers Panel. "It's merciless. It's really, really merciless."

Either Ginsburg has forgotten the numerous devastating Supernatural finales put out by The CW, or 100 fans are in for a particularly sadistic bit of gut-wrenching television.
