While avid viewers of The CW's Hart of Dixie have gotten attached to the love stories on the hit series, a show runner has revealed the future for some of Bluebell's favorite couples in what could be the last season of the show.

Executive producer Leila Gerstein spoke with E! News not too long ago and said while it is a shorter season than usual, all of the loose strings with the romantic story lines will finally be tied.

"Everyone is going to be satisfied that by the end of the 10 episodes, all the central love triangles have been resolved, all the central questions have been answered and we're going to have a lot of fun along the way. We have been saving a lot of stuff for each of the stories and we decided to burn through it all this year."

Fans could not help but wonder that since all of their questions will be answered, and it looks like many story lines are wrapping up, if show runners are preparing for the show to go off the air indefinitely.

Gerstein also spoke on speculation regarding a cancellation.

She said, "That's hard to say," Gerstein said. "I will say that there is a lot of closure in the season finale and there is a definite feeling of celebration at the end of the season. But there are also certainly doors left open for the future!"

Still, she revealed it is not up to her for the show to continue or end for good. But she reassured fans that they will be smiling by the end of the season regardless.

"I can tell the fans that this season is for you and you're going to love this season. No one is going to feel unsatisfied by the end. Obviously we hope for many, many more seasons but everyone will be happy with this season."

Hart of Dixie airs Friday nights on The CW at 8/7c.
