As viewers are learning, McKinney is not one to sit back and let someone mistreat her. So it does not take long for her to speak up after Parks' sneaky disses.

"Phaedra, there have been a couple of moments that I definitely felt that I haven't necessarily spoken on... I have to get it out. What I wanted to say is that I wanna make sure if there is shade, I wanna address it."

She referred to a time in which McKinney told Parks that she once played a woman addicted to crack cocaine on TBS' House of Payne. She called out Parks for asking her if she had actually smoked the drug before.

"I thought that was shady. I thought the comment about my age was kinda whack," McKinney added.

Parks then defended herself and said she simply said that when a woman reaches a "certain age" should stop trying to pursue a career as a singer.

"Boom. I'm younger than you, "McKinney said.

Parks reminded her, "You're closer to 40 than 20. So I'm just being honest."

McKinney told Parks she did not need her thoughts on her aspiration.

Parks then told cameras that someone was instigating the situation with McKinney.

"I'm just being real."

McKinney went on to bring up Parks' statement on her controversial relationship with television executive Roger Bobb before she dissed Parks' husband, who is currently serving eight years in federal prison after a fraud scam.
