Amina of VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York is involved in one of the most explosive love triangles in reality TV history as her husband, Peter Gunz, is torn between her and Tara Wallace, his ex-girlfriend and mother of two of his sons.

Amina opened up about the ordeal with Vlad-TV and said she and Wallace have made attempts and progress at developing a peaceful relationship.

"It's better. It's much better. I'm so happy about it. You'll see how it all happens. We're definitely cordial now. We talk to each other, I have her number. It's step by step. It's not 'oh we're friends now.' I wouldn't say that. It's going in the right direction.

"I think she is definitely trying to...Try her best to get past whatever happened in the past and I appreciate that."

Viewers might have been shocked with Peter Gunz when he cheated on Wallace with Amina. He and Wallace were together for more than 10 years. But he took the infidelity even further when he secretly married Amina just months before announcing they were expecting their first child together. Now the fallout plays out on the current season of Love & Hip Hop New York as Gunz admits he is in love with both women.

Amina also dished on the current status of her and Gunz.

"As people know things have been crazy and have not been very good for me and him. We are definitely in a weird place. As you can see in the first episode, we did move in together. I did give it another shot. I love him. I just have to say I didn't go into it thinking 'Oh everything's good now.' I know what I was getting into.

"A woman can only take so much."

She added fans will have to watch the show to find out what happens between them.
