Supernatural's Dean Winchester has crossed a dangerous line, and he knows it.

'Supernatural' Season 10 To Change Time Slots, When Will Move Take Place?

The CW series closed out the midseason finale by turning Dean (Jensen Ackles) into a killer of more than monsters. Compelled by the Mark of Cain, the elder Winchester brother unnecessarily - and brutally - killed off several unsavory, albeit non-supernatural, humans.

When the midseason premiere picks up, Dean will have to deal with the fallout of his actions. A new sneak peek (see video below) for "The Hunter Games" shows Ackles character is willing to do whatever it takes to get the Mark off his arm.

"That was what? That was a massacre, that's what it was," Dean said as he walked in on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel's (Misha Collins) conversation about his actions. "There was a time I was a hunter, not a stone cold killer. You can say it. You're not wrong. I crossed the line."

"Guys, this thing's got to go," Dean implores, holding up the Mark burned into his right forearm.

Unfortunately, one of the only texts that might hold a cure is the Demon Tablet. Not only is it missing, but there are also no prophets left who can decipher it. The group's only other option is to seek advice from the man who wrote it - Metatron (Curtis Armstrong).
