Could we be getting another former pro on the judging panel of ABC's Dancing With the Stars alongside Julianne Hough?

There is new speculation that Tony Dovolani might become a judge in a future season of Dancing With the Stars. Speculation began after Dovolani talked with San Antonio Live this week. When one of the show's hosts asked "You're going to be a judge in the coming seasons?" his response was quite interesting.

"In the future," he teased. "For this year I'm going to be a dancer. So I'm really excited about it. This is my 19th season. I'm hoping to get a winner. The last time I won was actually with a Texas girl, Melissa Rycroft."

ABC Announces March Premiere for 'Dancing With the Stars,' Will It Be All-New Cast?

Fans of Dovolani will be happy to know that he will be dancing in the upcoming 20th season of Dancing With the Stars. Joining the show all the way back in season 2, he is now the longest lasting pro in the entire history of the program. And as he noted, his only win has been with Rycroft during the All Stars season.

However, it is interesting that Dovolani is suggesting he might be on the judging panel in the future. This comes at a time when head judge Len Goodman announced he was leaving after season 20, which opens up a spot on the panel. Could Dovolani be a good enough judge to replace him?

Dancing With the Stars returns for its 20th season on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
