The Jets vs Eagles game Thursday evening will kick off at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 6:30 pm EST and will be broadcast on CBS.

The game will put face to face the two teams with the best defense on the NFL (Philadelphia first, then the Jets) and will be the last opportunity for the Jets to score their first touchdown of the preseason.

The Jets are entering today's game with a 0-3 win after they became the first NFL team in 35 years to not score a touchdown in it's first three preseason games.

On the contrary, the Eagles will enter the game with a 3-0 win against Pittsburgh, New England and Cleveland.

Jet's quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow will not play tonight which is common practice on the NFL to keep the starters healthy for the season. But the two weighed in on tonight's game.

"They're a tough team to play against," Sanchez said. "It's not an easy stadium to play in. It's a really good defense and we'll have our hands full. We've got to play well and take care of the football, same old story. But that's an active group and a team that I'm sure is going to be tough to play against this year."

The game tonight will be an opportunity for reserve players to land several open positions on both teams.

"I'm excited to see some guys who haven't had a whole lot of reps. I'm excited to see McElroy play, and (Matt) Simms only had the one scrimmage and he looked good in it, so I'm excited to see him. (Terrence) Ganaway, (we are) going to see him get a chance. He's going to play some tailback and some 'A' back if you will and (even) some fullback." Jets' head coach Rex Ryan said.

The Eagles' coach Andy Reid was excited about tonight.

"It's a great opportunity for these guys to show," coach Reid said. "They were told when they came here they were going to have an opportunity to play and put film out there. If they make our team, more power to them. If they don't, it gives them an opportunity to catch on with somebody else, and that's what this is all about."

The Jets vs Eagles game will also be available on Radio on ESPN 98.7 fm.
