While Banshee is known for the violence, action and guns, there's something else on the show that gives it the adult content it needs- sex.

On Tuesday, Hit Fix posted a video with the stars of the show during a Q&A event in Los Angeles. They dished on how sex is a beneficial part of the series and how everyone works with it.

"As we've sort of matured as a show, we've gotten a better handle on that," writer Jonathan Tropper said. "I think for us now when there is going to be sex, it serves the story; we don't shy away from it, but we certainly don't look for it and don't feel any pressure to put it in there and you'll see plenty of episodes where there isn't any."

Antony Starr (Lucas Hood) then mentioned that one of the most frequent questions that people ask him is if the sex scenes he performs are actually real.

This seemed to confuse everyone and Starr insisted that he does get this question a lot. But he made it clear that those scenes are definitely not real.

"Can you imagine the child support I'd be paying?" the actor said with a laugh. "There would be like a little stream of me's that go like- it'd be like a bank machine."
