Teen Nick's latest drama Open Heart is about to premiere and it sounds like there will be some hot tension going on.

Chatter On Drew's Exciting Message On 'Degrassi'

On Tuesday, Hollywood Life posted an interview with Degrassi actress Cristine Prosperi who will play Mikayla on the new series. She mentioned that the medical drama is "thrilling with a capital T" and it's "hot and steamy- you're in a hospital with hot doctors!"

The site then brought up the question if this means that these doctors are going to have some wild hookups. Prosperi revealed that that is definitely going to happen.

"YES!" she said. "There's a lot of closet kisses and lab kisses. We have an amazing doctor cast and they're all so talented and good looking."

Karis Cameron, who plays Dylan on the show, added that "there's a lot of romance with everybody."

The series stars Cameron as a girl who volunteers in a hospital as part of her community service after getting into some trouble. It just so happens that her mother is a doctor at this hospital and her sister is a resident. While Dylan has to deal with some discomfort by working with her family, she's also on the hunt for her missing father who was last seen in that hospital.

Cameron said that her character "cannot rest until she knows where he is, if he's alive, if he's coming back. I think she needs to know and that's her mission."

Open Heart premieres on Tuesday, January 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Teen Nick.
