On Thursday, HollywoodLife reported that an insider says that may be exactly what has happened.

The publication reported that it may be because of all the back-and-forth betweent he on-and-off couple.

Selena Gomez Appears To Be Over Justin Bieber As She Holds Someone Else's Hand At The Golden Globes

An insider told the site, "He has worked on songs hitting back at all his critics. There was even buzz that he was writing a diss song vaguely about Taylor Swift."

Allegedly, this could be due to how vocal Swift has been about how Bieber "treats" ex-girlfriend Gomez.

Apparently a few years ago, Swift stuck her tongue out at Bieber while he was kissing Gomez at the Billboard Music Awards.

Then, when she was asked what she thought about Bieber winning Milestone Awards at the show, her response was: "Can we have another question?"

Though it doesn't seem to matter what is going on between Bieber and Gomez because she has apparently moved on to DJ Zedd.

The two are definitely working together whether they're dating or not. Gomez shared a photo on Instagram of the two in the studio working on her new album together.

Zedd is the mastermind behind Ariana Grande's Break Free, Lady Gaga's G.U.Y, Stay the Night with Hayley Williams and even co-produced Bieber's Beauty and a Beat.
