Hayley and Jackson may have a solid relationship when it comes to respect and understanding, but things are about to change for the werewolf couple on The Originals.

'The Originals' Star Dishes On Why Fans Should Expect A 'Brutal' Brawl

During Monday night's episode Klaus (Joseph Morgan) unwillingly gave is blessing for Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to reveal their secret to her betrothed, Jackson (Nathan Parsons). While Hayley trusts Jackson to keep her daughter Hope a secret, there will still be some bumps along the way.

"The audience knows Hayley's secret, but Jackson doesn't," explained Parsons to TVLine on Monday. "It's definitely going to be a game-changer for their relationship."

Why Claire Holt Might Be Returning To 'The Originals'

Of course if protecting Hayley's secret doesn't get Jackson killed, the marriage itself just might. While Klaus has accepted that a loyal pack of werewolves would benefit both Hayley and their child, he still doesn't trust Jackson and views him as disposable somewhere down the long.

"I'm used to playing characters that get in the middle of things and cause trouble," noted Parsons. "I don't mind throwing a wrench into things, because at least it causes people to respond."

The closer they getting to the wedding, the more trouble his involvement is likely to create for the original family. The only thing perhaps more deadly than Klaus himself is Klaus' fear that someone will come in and expose his daughter to danger.

The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
