John Mayer was in attendance to support Katy Perry's Super Bowl performance on Sunday night.

Although Mayer was not one of Perry's surprise guests, he was nearby when she performed several of her hit songs during Super Bowl XLIX's half time show, and a short time later, a photo of the two of them, along with Missy Elliott, hit Twitter.

"So they're back ON?! @katyperry @JohnMayer," asked entertainment reporter Deidre Behar, who shared the photo of Mayer and Perry just hours after Sunday night's football game.

According to reports, Mayer and Perry rekindled their on-again, off-again relationship last month, after taking several months off. After being spotted having dinner in Beverly Hills, Calif., the couple were photographed at a friend's house, and were reportedly caught having a sleep over at Perry's Los Angeles home.

"As soon as John called Katy, she went running back to him. He swears he’s a different man now and feels ready to commit," an insider told Britian's Now Magazine, according to a report by Malay Mail Online. "He always loved Katy, but was afraid to take the next step. Now he’s even been talking marriage and children.”

The magazine's source claimed Mayer was so determined to change his ways that he actually began seeing a therapist.

“He took that time to focus on himself and figure out why he can’t commit," the source explained."He even sought professional help."
