As Bobbi Kristina makes a recovery after being found unconscious in a bathtub, the family of her alleged husband Nick Gordon has broken their silence as her father Bobby Brown sets the record straight that Bobbi and Gordon never legally tied the knot.

Reports have confirmed that it was Gordon and a friend who discovered Bobbi, the only child of late iconic singer Whitney Houston and R&B crooner Brown, lying facedown in a bathtub over the weekend. Since then, there has been speculation as to whether Gordon caused the accident. His aunt, Lisa Gordon, has spoken out on his behalf.

She said, "He and a friend found her, so she's a grown woman and she does whatever she feels she wants to do, whether or not her husband is around her or not. He's not a bad person. He is a good person."

Still, while Lisa said that Nick has nothing to do with the incident, a member of Brown's legal team has spoken out and revealed they are looking into the incident to figure out exactly what happened.

"We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization."

They also released another statement on Brown's behalf that shut down claims that Bobbi and Nick were husband and wife.

"To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon."

According to reports Bobbi has also been moved to Emory University from Atlanta's North Fulton Hospital.

The two shocked fans when they announced they were spouses more than a year ago. Houston's family is not a big fan of Nick. Her sister-in-law even got a restraining order against him after the alleged wedding news. It is in effect until April of this year.

The timing of the incident is interesting as Houston was found dead in a bathtub almost three years ago to date (Feb. 11, 2012). Her death was ruled accidental.
