The mid season premiere of The Walking Dead is only four days away, and luckily for fans one of the show's actors is giving away a few spoilers.

AMC Hosts 'Walking Dead' 2 Day Marathon

On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly reported that actor Andrew Lincoln, who plays the role of Rick Grimes, stopped by the Entertainment Weekly Radio to chat about the show, and he says that fans she be prepared for the best and the worst.

"This back eight is my favorite back eight we've done since we started the show, for many reasons," Lincoln told the radio station. "Mainly because it's almost like a reset. We get to reimagine and sort of dial back some of the characters. And we meet so many new people. It's sort of a wild rabbit hole that we all go down, and I think the storytelling is phenomenal."

"Be prepared," says Lincoln. "I think episodes 9 and 10 are two of my favorites. They're brutal. They're incredibly emotional, and I think there will be a lot of surprises along the way."

Back in December, some of the other cast and crew spoke exclusively with AMC about what fans could expect when the show returns.

Actor Chad Coleman, who plays the role of Tyreese, said that the characters were going to go through even more hell during the second half of season 5.

Based on the new AMC trailer, the survivors have no place to run; however, even that can't stop them from finding a way to stay alive.

Actor Norman Reedus, who plays the role of Daryl, said that instead of running away from the danger, the characters face everything head on.

The Walking Dead mid season premiere airs on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
