Lizzie (Megan Boone) isn't a murderer, but Berlin's former henchman certainly is. In a moment of decisive action, Tom (Ryan Eggold) dispatched the harbormaster when he stumbled across Liz's little prison - an act that the FBI profiler couldn't accomplish despite succumbing to her growing dark side.

Although Liz didn't end the snooper's life, she will become caught up in an investigation when the harbormaster is reported missing. In a shocking move, Tom may return to help clear her name.

"Tom killed that guy and Liz was there," executive producer John Eisendrath told Entertainment Weekly. "The residual effect of that is going to come back and be something that will haunt both of them, and in fact, might put Liz in some jeopardy and require Tom to decide whether or not he's going to assist in helping Liz get out of the trouble that he, in many ways, put her in."
