The photo Underwood included showed her little dogs, Ace and Penny, wearing I'm Going To Be A Big Brother and I'm Going To Be A Big Sister shirts to reveal that the singer was going to be a mom.

Then on Nov. 5 Underwood allowed Brad Paisley to work the gender reveal into a bit for their gig at the CMA Awards in Nashville. Paisley pretended to have her divulge the secret before "accidentally" announcing to the crowd that his co-host is expecting a baby boy.

So what's next? Will Underwood and Fisher come up with an equally creative birth announcement? Perhaps it will have something to do with Underwood's new, untitled album or an upcoming single.

The couple have elected to keep their child's precise due date private for the time being, though when the time comes to welcome their child they might just have a thing or two planned in terms of how they will go about sharing it.

Underwood is expected to give birth to their baby boy this spring.
