Avid viewers of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta know that the mother of co-star Kandi Burruss is not a huge fan of her husband Todd Tucker. But Burruss recently revealed whether the shocking and tragic passing of Tucker's mother, Miss Sharon, has brought him and Mama Joyce on better terms.

She made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live that also airs on the network. She told host Andy Cohen that things are improving for Burruss and Mama Joyce since Miss Sharon died late last year.

"She has come around. Things have gotten a lot better lately. They are communicating a lot better. She's being a lot more supportive. I don't think it was just [Miss Sharon's passing]. Of course when something like that happens that makes everybody come together."

She added that Tucker has gained Mama Joyce's respect after she thought he was an opportunist who was taking advantage of Burruss' millionaire status. Tucker holding the title of executive producer for a reality series, Hollywood Divas, has helped Mama Joyce see that he has his own success aside from Burruss.

"The proof is in the pudding," she said.

To show how much Mama Joyce had changed, Burruss said she didn't even say anything when Burruss splurged on a brand new car for Tucker for his birthday.

Burrus and Tucker wed on April 4, 2014. They each have a daughter from previous relationships, so their blended family has been much of Burruss's storyline on the show this season.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c.
