As the production for Transformers 5 is set to begin soon and the internet is rife with speculation about the plot. If one were to intertwine two predictions for the movie, it would make it very exciting for fans.

What Spurred Michael Bay To Quit The Transformers Series? 

It's most likely that G.I. Joe will be joining the maximals and autobots as they wage war against the predacons, if rumors about the storyline are true.

Cinema Blend revealed that this could be a possibility and tempted with the idea of Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) and Bruce Willis joining Optimus Prime and his crew.

Transformers: Age of Extinction Being Sued For Breaking Contractual Obligations? 

This is not a new suggestion, as this rumor had been taken up with the producer of movie, Lorenzo di Bonaventura. In an interview with Total Film earlier this year, said that there was potential in that concept. But Bonaventura went on to speak of how it was not a realistic proposition, at least not in the near future.  

"I don't think [it's] in the near future at all," he explained. "It's not something we talk about either. There's a lot more story to be told in both cases. And I think if at some moment we think, 'You know what? It's time to bring the two of them together,'we'll do that. But I think they're strong enough to exist on their own."

Fashion and Style revealed that a major theme of the movie will be the beast wars featuring the Maximals go up against the Predcaons. The Maximals are a subgroup of the Autobots so they would be fighting the good fight against the antagonists, the Predacons, who belong to the creed of Decepticons.The Maximals take the form of animals like rhinoceros, cheetah, rat and beastly birds like the falcon and the eagle. The report reveals that Predacons feature venomous creatures like the scorpion, tarantula, wasp, black widow, and the cobra.

Earlier this year, the subject of the theme of the beast wars did come up. The report suggested that the machines will now transform into wild animalistic form, and that could open up a whole new world of imagination in the franchise. The beast version of many of the characters is found in the G1 toyline series. Like Optimus Prime is Optimus Primal, Bumblebee is Cheetor, and from the Decepticons, StarScream is Terrasaur and Blackout is Tarantulus.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
