Did Nick Cannon Say Something About Mariah Carey In New Rap Hit?

According to a report, Cannon, who split from wife Mariah Carey last year, and Murphy, who parted ways with Michael Strahan just months ago, had dinner with friends at Bagatelle in New York City's Meat Packing District on Monday.

"They were laughing and having a great time,” an onlooker told Page Six on Wednesday. “Nick and Nicole and their friends were dressed to the nines.”

After living separately from Carey for several months, Cannon filed for divorce in December. The couple married in 2008 and have two children together, twins Moroccan and Monroe. Meanwhile, Murphy is newly single, as well, having split from Strahan in August after five years together.

"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," Murphy's rep told PEOPLE Magazine at the time.

After news of his own breakup hit the web, Cannon spoke out, telling press his and Carey's kids were his main concern.

"There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon told The Insider in August, according to a Page Six report. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months. My main focus is my kids."

A short time later, Cannon tweeted about the split, telling fans he was okay with being labeled as the bad guy.

"I have no problem being painted as the bad guy," he wrote. "I got tough skin. Keep going! I just pray we ALL can move forward in the new year."
