NASCAR driver Danica Patrick recently revealed whether she would follow in fellow driver Michael Waltrip's footsteps and compete on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

'Dancing With the Stars' Makes Big Announcement Regarding Derek Hough

Patrick has been a divisive figure in the world of NASCAR, though she is certainly one of the most recognizable faces. She does have her fans, who would conceivably watch her compete in Dancing With the Stars. Would the driver consider competing?

"No sir. I don't think that's for me," she replied, asked if she would consider going on the show, via the Orlando Sentinel. "I was asked a long time ago, a couple of times, and while I was honored to be asked I also know that my 'game face' is not of a pretty nature. So I don't know how many votes I would get anyway."

Malcolm Butler Reportedly 'Really Wants' To Join 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Waltrip competed on the 19th season last fall, coming in seventh place with his pro partner Emma Slater. While he definitely wasn't the best dancer in the ballroom, he provided entertainment and heart, allowing his to advance further and further in the competition.

Patrick commented on Waltrip's stint on the show, saying that he was "as good as it gets in terms of entertainment purposes." She added that fellow racer Clint Bowyer would "also be funny."

While Patrick may not be competing on Dancing With the Stars, it is always possible that another racer will decide to compete. In the same Orlando Sentinel report, Waltrip suggested that Jeff Gordon should appear on the show.

Dancing With the Stars returns for season 20 on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
