Hough is set to star in the New York Spring Spectacular this spring, meaning he will not be competing on Dancing With the Stars for season 20, its landmark season. However, he is not leaving the show forever. In fact, he will be returning the very next season.

"Oh, and one more thing, and this is BIG news....@derekhough will return as a pro next season on Dancing with the Stars! #DWTS", the official Dancing With the Stars Twitter account posted Wednesday.

Many of the usual pros are returning for season 20, including Tony Dovolani, Mark Ballas, Val Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater, with newer pros like Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Allison Holker and last year's winner, Witney Carson. Previous champ Kym Johnson is also returning as a pro.

One big question mark after Wednesday's pro announcement was why there were only 10 pros announced. Chmerkovskiy quickly took to Twitter to clear things up, revealing that there will be two other pros added to the list. "There will be 2 more pros added to the roster... #dwts20 #dwts", he tweeted Wednesday.

This evens out the cast to its regular 12. The celebrity cast will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 24 on ABC's Good Morning America.

Dancing With the Stars season 20 premieres on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
