It seems like Madonna can't handle Lady Gaga's fame.

On her Sept. 16 show in Atlantic City, the Material Girl told her fans she wanted to dedicate her song, "Masterpiece," to her frenemy Gaga.

"I'm going to dedicate this next song ... to Lady Gaga. You wanna know something? I love her. I love her. I do love her," she said to the concert goers, according to The Huffington Post. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery. But one day, very soon, we're going to be on stage together. Just you wait. You think I'm kidding? I love Lady Gaga."

This isn't the first time Madonna has taken a jab at the new Princess of Pop.

Madge has covered Mother Monster's "Born This Way" at her concerts and has done a mash up of "Born This Way" and her 1989 hit "Express Yourself."

Madonna believes that "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way" are a little too similar.

In an interview for with ABC, the 53-year-old singer dubbed Gaga's work "reductive," and said "Born This Way," was a "a wonderful way to redo my song,"

Without naming any names, Gaga responded (via The Huffington Post): "I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music. Because that's really all I care about, is the music," she said. "Things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes 'Born This Way' so relevant for me. We're socially in a different place and it's OK, we don't have to all slice and hate each other anymore."

Elton John has defended Gaga - the godmother of his son Zachary -- telling Australia's Channel 7 that she's been "so horrible" to Mother Monster, according to The Huffington Post.

He also claimed Madonna's "career is over" and said "she's such a nightmare." John also said, "she looks like a f**king fairground stripper."
