Now that the wedding is over, the Mikaelsons will be facing a very real threat when The Originals returns next month.

It's still uncertain whether or not Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be able to trust Freya (Riley Voelkel), but regardless of their differences one thing is for certain: They both want to stop Dahlia.

"She's [Freya] looking for an alliance with her family against the threat of this very dangerous witch named Dahlia, who will not only be coming to secure Freya as a slave, but also coming for Hope," executive producer Michael Narducci told TVLine on Monday.

So is Freya looking to sacrifice Hope in order to save herself? Or band together to stop Dahlia for good?

"Freya will have to ask herself, 'Do we really have a common enemy?'" added Narducci. "And our Mikaelson characters will ask, 'Can we trust Freya?' It's going to be a matter of who's being honest with everything they know about this potential threat."

Dahlia, sister to Esther (Sonja Sohn), didn't come to claim Freya until she was five years old. For Hope, however, this timeline is likely to be moved up. Freya recently revealed that it's the magic which draws Dahlia in and Hope's abilities have already been shown to be quite strong at a very young age.

Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) might have just gotten their werewolf army just in time.

The Originals will return on The CW with the remainder of its second season on Monday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
