The Agents of SHIELD are looking a little worse for ware in photos for the midseason premiere.

Could 'Agents Of SHIELD' Midseason Premiere Feature A New 'Age Of Ultron' Trailer?

Picking up in the wake of the devastating events of "What they Become," "Aftershocks" shows Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team adjusting to the new norm - no Trip (BJ Britt) and a supernaturally charged Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Still sporting cuts and scrapes from his underground scuffle with Mac (Henry Simmons), Coulson looks far worse than his opponent. Mac is no longer playing defense for the alien city and, despite his epic fall, the mechanic seems to be in perfect health. His psychological state, however, could be better.

How Will 'Agents Of SHIELD' Handle Trip's Death? Agent's Mother To Appear

Skye, for her part, is locked in medical. Confused about her new powers - she's not even entirely sure what they are, let alone how to control them - the newest Inhuman is looking pensive, if not a bit pouty.

Meanwhile, Coulson will be making the rounds during "Aftershocks." The Director will make the sad journey to visit Trip's mother, one that will undoubtedly end in tears. Coulson will enjoy his trip to the Playground's prison, however, as he brings General Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) to visit Bakshi (Simon Kassianides).
