It appears that Dakota Johnson may be experiencing some mixed emotions right now.

The actress has had a successful week with her starring role in 50 Shades of Grey as it dominated (no pun intended) the box office. But unfortunately, the actress's relationship with boyfriend Matthew Hitt reportedly came to an end, and the film may have had something to do with it.

On Saturday, Hollywood Life reported that Johnson's focus on the sexy flick could have been an issue when she and Hitt were together.

"[Dakota] has been way too busy to focus any attention to her relationship and Matthew totally shut her out of his life because of that," a source told the site.

It was also mentioned that Hitt was not happy that his then-girlfriend took the role in the movie. And there may have been more to it than that.

"He hated that she took the film," the source said. "He hated all the talk and rumors that she was in a relationship with [50 Shades co-star] Jamie [Dornan] but that was obviously all in his head."

Does this mean that Johnson and her ex are done for good? It sounds pretty likely, but the actress doesn't seem too hung up on it.

"[Dakota] would have mourned the break up more but keeping busy got her through it," the insider said. "She misses the good times but it really doesn't look like they will get back together."
