Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Marriage: Actor Presents At The Oscars, But Where Was His Wife? [PHOTOS, VIDEO]

As Ben Affleck donned it up at the Oscars on Sunday evening, his wife was nowhere to be found.

That same day, Daily Mail posted some shots of Affleck's wife, Jennifer Garner, who was in Pacific Palisades on a shopping trip instead. She was spotted looking casual in jeans and a warm jacket as she took her three kids with her.

Affleck and Garner have two daughters, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and a son, Samuel, 2. The three of them were dressed warmly as well during their little trip to a farmers' market.

It wasn't mentioned why Garner was out shopping instead of going to the Oscars with her husband. Affleck wasn't nominated this year although the drama film that he starred in (Gone Girl) was up for an award- Best Actress, Rosamund Pike, who was beaten by Julianne Moore for her role in Still Alice.

Affleck, however, did present the award for Best Director, which was given to Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu for Birdman.

In a recent interview with Southern Living, Garner mentioned how she wants her kids to grow up with a sense of the beauty in front of them.

"It's really important for my kids to see that everyone doesn't have the lives they see in Los Angeles," the actress said. "That doesn't reflect the rest of the world. I want them to grow up with the Southern values I had- to look at people when they say hello and to stop and smell the roses. If I could do half as good a job as my mom did, I'd be pretty happy."
