Eva Longoria shows off her perfect physique in a nude photograph for the new coffee table book "Asleep at the Chateau."

In the photo, 37-year-old Longoria is sprawled on a bed in Los Angeles' historic Chateau Marmont hotel. She is turned away from the camera as she exposes her nude back and buttocks and wraps the front of her body in a white bed sheet. Her eyes are closed and two small tattoos on her lower back are in sight.

"Asleep at the Chateau" is the new book from fashion and beauty photographer Jork Weissmann. The artsy coffee table book pictures celebrities including Longoria, Orlando Bloom, Usher and Jennifer Aniston's fiancé Justin Theroux in various states of undress as they stretch across different locations of the famous Los Angeles hotel.

Longoria said she works hard to maintain the figure she shows off in Weissmann's new book.

"I work out in the mornings when I get up. I have to do it then. If it's after 11 a.m. it just doesn't happen," she said. "I have to get it done while I'm still on autopilot because I hate exercising."

The "Desperate Housewives" actress keeps fit with the help of a personal trainer and a home gym. She also tries to keep exercise fresh by working her body through different activities.

"I tried Pilates, but I couldn't deal with it," Longoria said. "Dancing is also a great way to stay fit - I wish I could do that every day."

But staying in shape isn't all about exercise, she said. Food intake plays an equally important role in personal fitness.

"It's all about food and exercise. I don't really eat a lot of carbs," Longoria said. "I did two months recently without sugar, too. And once you start paying attention, everything seems to contain it. It's like, 'Oh my god, even this banana is sugary.'"

Longoria did admit, however, to her one snacking weakness: "I do love French fries."
