The new season of the Real Housewives of New York hasn't even started yet, and everyone is already talking about all the drama that is about to go down in the Big Apple. Newcomer Dorinda Medley opens up about joining the show and what viewers can expect to see when the reality show returns to Bravo next month.

Do Ramona Singer & Sonja Morgan Have New Men In Their Lives?

According to the New York Post (via Reality Tea) on Friday, Medley says that she has no problem stirring up trouble with the other housewives as she "loves" a good on screen argument.

She told the site, "So I thought, why not give it a try and see if it is something that suits me? I live on the Upper East Side, and it's a small fishbowl up here. I am not going to be that ball of yarn that came out of nowhere."

Medley also said that since her late husband's death back in 2011, she's been trying to "rebuild" herself and that joining the show was a good excuse to try something new.

She added, "I've been presented with a lot of different challenges and that's why I wasn't afraid to be on the Housewives. The whole point is to keep going forward and try again."

Medley added that she hopes to be the "fun" one on the show, saying, "I think I'm creative, and I consider myself a smart woman. I like to see a good argument between two people. I think you learn when you argue, it's just an expression of your opinion."

The show, which also stars Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and more, returns to Bravo on April 11th.
