What the heck is Mindy Lahiri craving during her pregnancy?

Spoiler Alert: Danny Attempts To Stop Smoking & Mindy Tries To Eat Healthy In Next Episode Of 'The Mindy Porject'

On Tuesday, People shared an interview with Mindy Kaling where she opens up about what exactly is going through Mindy Lahiri's mind on The Mindy Project.

The magazine got her to dish on what Lahiri's pregnancy is like and to discuss an actress that is guest-starring in an upcoming episode.

Danny Wants To Move To San Francisco, But Mindy's Brother May Ruin Everything In 'The Mindy Project'

When asked what's next for the show and how Lahiri is handling her new pregnancy, Kaling responds: "Mindy is excited and overwhelmed. It's so funny to see an OB/GYN who is so unprepared for pregnancy."

And when she was asked about what Lahiri is craving as a pregnant woman, she said, "She eats so poorly that there is virtually no difference between her pregnancy cravings and her normal food."

But the publication didn't stop with the questions about the show. They were dying to know what Kris Jenner's role will be like on the show.

"She plays herself!" Kaling revealed. So not only is she playing a best friend, she is playing someone's best friend, Kris Jenner.

Reportedly, Kaling contributes all of her success to her confidence.

"I have a personality defect where I sort of refuse to see myself as an underdog. It's gotten me into a lot of trouble but is also the reason for my success," Kaling said. "I often am reminded of it when people ask me why I'm confident ...Why wouldn't I be?"

Apparently the girls and women who look up to her are another motivation for her to keep working hard.

"So many girls who look up to me or are interested in me are young girls of color who have been told they're ugly and who feel that they are not normal. It's so important for women who look like me-or who look different than me -can find themselves beautiful and be objects of love and attention and affection. I feel sad when people say, 'You were the first person who made me feel like that was possible.'"
