"I pushed him away," Fortier said. "I told him, 'I'm your Nanny. I can't do this.' ... He understood and said it was OK."

On the night of Lloyd's death, Fortier babysat for the couple's baby and she was paid $250 for only four hours of work ($62.50 an hour), a much higher pay rate than the usual $20 an hour.

On Monday, The Hartford Courant reported that Hernandez and Jenkins called her around 4 p.m. on Father's Day, June 16, to babysit their infant daughter. Fortier said she arrived at the couple's home at 7:45 p.m. and she added the Jenkins and Hernandez left shortly after.

According to the witness, at around midnight, she was startled with she heard a knock at the door. She told the jury that she went to see who it was, and noticed that it was Bo (Wallace) in the front window.

She recognized Bo because he had been at the house when she was babysitting once before.

According to the site, Fortier said that Jenkins and Hernandez arrived at 1 a.m. and then Hernandez, Wallace and Ortiz left shortly after.

The site reported that Fortier refused to make eye contact with the defendant during her time on the stand.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the murder chargers and he currently remains in jail without bail.
