Harry Hamlin Tweets About 'RHOBH' As Wife Lisa Rinna Defends Playboy Past

Following a heated fight between Lisa Rinna and Kim Richards, which occurred after Richards reportedly made allegations against Hamlin, the actor spoke out, revealing he was impressed with how Rinna has handled herself on the show.

"She and I would equally defend each other’s honor," Hamlin said in an interview with Us Weekly on Sunday. "I was actually proud of her. I mean, look — you are getting your back up against a wall with something like that. What do you expect you know in the long run? But every time I see it, I go, 'You go girl!'"

Rinna joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last year, along with fellow soap star Eileen Davidson. Although Hamlin wasn't initially on board with the idea, he eventually had a change of heart, and encouraged his wife to move forward with the Bravo reality series.

"I am [proud] because she’s doing a magnificent job," Hamlin said of Rinna's season five performance. "I think she’s bringing some class to a show that is kind of a reflection of who we are today. So in some sense it is art in that respect. I think she’s doing an extraordinary job."

Although there have been reports, which have claimed Rinna will not return for the yet-to-be-confirmed sixth season of the show, Rumorfix set the record straight on Tuesday, revealing there was no truth to the rumors.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
