Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford have been busy crafting their second studio album for a few months now.
They have been in and out of the recording studio with various members of bands like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and more.

The band has taken to Twitter to enlighten fans on their progress.
On Sunday, Irwin shared a photo of Hemmings and producer John Feldmann who the band works with frequently.

Feldmann shared a photo on Instagram that included Irwin.

On Tuesday, Hood tweeted what appeared to be lyrics: "I wanna little bit of California, with a little bit of London sky".

Hemmings even retweeted him.
Irwin then dished the next studio album "is coming along swimmingly".
