Teddy Sears of Masters of Sex has landed the male lead in CBS drama.

Beau Bridges Coming Back for 'Masters of Sex' Season 3?

On Thursday, Digital Spy reported that Sears has been cast at the male lead in the CBS pilot Doubt.

The drama will also star KaDee Strickland from Private Practice as a successful defense lawyer at a boutique law firm named Sadie.

Bill & Virginia To Move From Researching To 'Actually Helping People' In Season 3 Of 'Masters Of Sex?'  

Sadie will reportedly become romantically involved with a client named Billy (Sears) who is suspected of committing a "brutal crime."

Billy is a pediatric surgeon who is facing charged over the murder of a 15-year-old girl, according to Deadline.

Dreama Walker will play Tiffany, a hardworking associate at the firm while Laverne Cox will play Tiffany's Boss, Cameron.

Grey's Anatomy executives Tony Phelan and Joan Rat, are reportedly developing Doubt after co-writing the script for the show.

Elementary's Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly are also executive producing the drama.

Sears stars as Dr. Austin Langham in Showtime's Masters of Sex and has also had roles in Torchwood, Blue Bloods and American Horror Story.

Masters of Sex season 3 premieres on Showtime in the summer of 2015. Fans can catch up with seasons 1 and 2 airing on Showtime OnDemand.
