A book-to-film-to-TV adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist's 2004 novel, Let the Right One In is in development at A&E, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and the network has tapped Teen Wolf creator Davis and Wicker Park writer Brandon Boyce to pen the adaptation.

"I am thrilled to be adapting LET THE RIGHT ONE IN for television with @AETV," Boyce announced on Tuesday.

Shocking Return Planed For 'Teen Wolf' Premiere, Jeff Davis Teases A Familiar Face

Much like MTV's Teen Wolf, Let the Right One In will focus on the emergence of the supernatural in the lives of two high school teens - one a bullied boy and the other a female vampire.

Unlike the film, the film will trade 1980s Sweden for a Vermont town that pops up on a federal marshal's radar when a strong of peculiar murders takes place. Perhaps the cop should head over to Maine for a real shock in Haven.

It remains to be seen if Davis' involvement with the new venture will affect his work on Teen Wolf. Currently filming for a 20-episode fifth season, Teen Wolf will return to MTV on June 29.
