The drag star also made an appearance in the music video for "Getting' Over" by Chris Willis and David Guetta.

Ashley is survived by his boyfriend Karl Westerberg, who was a performer on season three of RuPaul's show as Manila Luzon. The couple had released a duet for "Baby It's Cold Outside" in December 2011. A heartbroken Westerberg tweeted ,"I love him so much."

RuPaul also took to Twitter to comment on the 27-year-old's unexpected passing:

"Shocked and heartbroken over @SaharaDavenport. Never occurred to me that we'd ever lose one of our girls. I see them as immortal."
