Grey's Anatomy appears to be full of relationship issues especially within the walls of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, but a new guy will make the ladies' hearts flutter.

Meredith & Derek Deal With Their Relationship Issues On 'Grey's Anatomy'

Last month, TVLine reported by the time the season finale airs a new guy will have wedged his way into the hearts' of the ladies at the hospital.

The ABC medical drama will be introducing a new, handsome male character named Jack Pruitt who is described as "a strong, rugged, handsome and tall police captain in his late 30s."

On Wednesday, the site reported more details about this handsome fella.

Kevin Alejandro who has acted on Arrow, Golden Boy, Southland and other TV dramas will be portraying Jack.

Alejandro will make his debut as Jack in the April 2 episode, When I Grow Up.

As of right now this will be his one and only appearance, but he could become recurring.

The press release, which released Wednesday, for When I Grow Up indicates Jack will suffer an injury on his leg that requires an operation to repair it.

Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) will perform the operation.

Another attractive male debuting in this episode is Taylor John Smith who will portray a school field trip chaperone that Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) takes a liking to.

Smith has appeared on Hawaii Five-0 as the Young Steve McGarrett.

The school field trip to the hospital will take a dramatic turn when the young students witness two injured policemen inside the emergency room.

Also, in this episode, Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) has to face her feelings for Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd).

Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
