Carrie Underwood is reportedly counting the days until she can work off the rest of that baby weight.

According to the Daily Mail on Friday, the country star is coordinating with her fitness trainer to get back to a regular workout schedule.

Underwood gave birth to her son, Isaiah Michael Fisher on Feb. 27. As is standard for new moms, her personal trainer, Erin Opera, is having her wait six weeks before getting back into a routine.

During this time, Opera is having the singer focus on eating right. In a few weeks, Underwood can slowly begin training again in increments. She will reintroduce cardio and weight training into her routine.

"They would both start light," explained Opera. "They wouldn't start a super intense weight workout or a super intense cardio workout."

Opera served as the 32-year-old's trainer throughout Underwood's pregnancy, which happened to coincide with the debut of the Something In The Water singer's fitness line, Calia.

"It's not all about being thin," noted Opera, who insists that women should focus more on being "comfortable" than dropping pounds. "I think it's about feeling good."

Working out will give Underwood a nice little reintroduction to moving around, which will certainly be beneficial when she begins touring this summer. The star intends to perform across the country throughout June and July. She's even had a bus designed to accommodate her little boy so that he can accompany her wherever she goes.
