Executive Producer Ilene Chaiken told E! News Thursday that the writers and directors have not even begun to wrap their head around what could happen in season 2. But there are some definites that viewers can look forward to.

"I'm excited to continue to explore characters, and learn more about the past as we go into the future. I'm excited to see what Cookie does with her new status, especially in the absence of Lucious, however long he's absent."

Chaiken confessed that they have no idea how long they're going to leave Lucious behind bars. As far as her relationship with Jamal, that has surely taken on a new dynamic. It's almost as if he dropped Cookie when Lucious finally began to accept him. Fans will see that play out in the highly anticipated new episodes as well.

"I want to see what Jamal does with his new position and his gangster status. Has he really fully assumed the mantle of his father's heir? Is he the most deserving son? None of these stories are over. We took them to the edge of one precipice only to jump towards another."
