On Monday, the series' Twitter page re-posted something that ought to gain some excitement. A fan tweeted a photo of trending topics on Twitter, and while selfies and National Puppy Day made the cut, so did Eye Candy.

Apparently, 'Where's Eye Candy' is currently trending 'worldwide' on Twitter, giving plenty of insight that the show could have a chance of making more episodes. It's still too soon to tell, but this creates hope.

What Are The Odds Of An 'Eye Candy' Renewal?

If the show is fortunate enough to come back for a second season, then there's a lot to look forward to, including what happened with Lindy's sister. According to executive producer Christian Taylor, a certain family member is going to be tied into the Sara story and the mysterious line 'Lindy will be safe.'

"There's going to be a big conspiracy that we'll explore next season about why her sister did that," Taylor told TV Line. "And I'll say one thing: it will be linked to their father."

The producer also explained why he felt it was important to give a backstory on Jake since he turned out to be the Flirtual Killer.

"Well, I think sympathizing with a mass murderer is a hard thing to do," Taylor said. "So I wasn't trying to do that, but I wanted the backstory to maybe give a little insight into the mind of a psycho and to show what triggers him. That was the reason for going into his past."
