Jamie Dornan might be one of the biggest stars from across the pond these days, but it looks like he had to apply some extreme measures to prepare for one of his roles. The Irish actor admits that he stalked a woman on London's Tube to help him prepare for his role as a serial killer in the BBC hit drama The Fall.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' News: Heartthrob Jamie Dornan To Receive $12 Million For Role In 'Fifty Shades' Sequels

According to the Irish Independent on Tuesday, Dornan says that while he's not proud of what he did, the experience did teach him a lot about his on-screen character, Paul Spector. The highly-rated show, which is available to view on Netflix, revolves around Dornan's character and the murders of three young women in Belfast.

He said, "I like, followed a woman off the train one day to see what it felt like to pursue someone like that. It felt kind of exciting in a really dirty way and I'm not proud of myself but I do think I learned something from it."

Production For 'Fifty Shades Darker' Should Begin Soon

Meanwhile, there's a rumor that suggests Angelina Jolie might be directing Dornan in the sequel to the box office smash hit to "50 Shades of Grey."

According to Britain's Daily Star this past week, there's a good chance that Jolie, who was last behind the camera in Unforgiven might take the helm for the next film, which will most likely star Irish hunk Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.

The site says that British bookies have already got Jolie at 25/1 to take over as director, which will no doubt please a lot of fans.

So far, Jolie herself has not made any comments about the rumors.
