Taylor Swift Releases Intense Single ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Off ‘Red’ Album (AUDIO)
Which one of Taylor Swift's celebrity exes is her new single "I Knew You Were Trouble" about? John Mayer? Joe Jonas? Jake Gyllenhaall? Taylor Lautner?
The track off of her forthcoming album "Red" is about falling in love with someone that you know is wrong for you ... maybe all of Swift's exes influenced her decision to write this song.
But Swift likes to keep her fans guessing. She told Glamour's November issue, "I never disclose who my songs are about."
She described her first dubstep influenced tune "chaotic," on "Good Morning America."
According to Celebuzz, she revealed to MTV News in September: "There are 16 songs on the album and every single one of them is about some sort of intense emotion that I felt."
Swift was excited for her fans to hear her song "I Knew You Were Trouble" because she knows most people can relate to it.
"There's a song called 'I Knew You Were Trouble'... It's really intense and I'm so excited for people to hear it because it's about [when] you meet someone and you just know, 'Oh, you're bad - why am I walking towards you anyway?"
Swift, who is now in a relationship with Conor Kennedy, has gone through her fair share of publicized breakups, but she told U.K.'s Marie Claire it's just as easy for her to fall in love like she did the first time.
"Even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you're standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was, thinking, 'Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen? But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and, bam, you're there - in love again."
The pop-infused-country-singer feels no remorse for writing songs about her former love interests.
"It's not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it," she told U.K.'s Marie Claire.
