A new report says that Josh and Anna Duggar owe thousands in back taxes as they were hit with a tax lien earlier this year because they owe money to the state of Arkansas.

According to In Touch Weekly, Josh and Anna have failed to pay a little over $3,000 in taxes. So far, the couple has not made any public statements about the mishap, even though parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are known for being extremely frugal and wise with their money.

Meanwhile, there's another report that alleges Josh's sister Jessa was known to be "the mean sister" in the family. She supposedly has a reputation for being both strict and harsh when it comes to schooling her younger brothers and sisters.

According to Fashion & Style on Tuesday, insiders say that Jessa's mother Michelle Duggar appointed her as the taskmaster of the family, making sure that her brother and sister's grades were on par and that their homework was always completed.

What's more, insiders say that Jessa's name always "instilled fear" in her younger siblings, as Jessa would "make them toe the line when necessary."
